Delivery & Returns
We guarantee delivery to all of mainland UK. In addition, we may also deliver to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight however this will incur a surcharge. If this is the case then we will contact you after your order is placed to discuss the extra charge.
Most of our standard orders are dispatched on a next working day service.
Made to measure products take up to 10 working days.
Upon receipt of your order please ensure you check your item for any damages and sign the proof of delivery accordingly. If the packaging is damaged in any way then please sign as packaging damaged.
PLEASE NOTE: damages should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery to prevent voiding the transit insurance. If you fail to take delivery and the goods are returned to us then we will refund you the cost of the goods* minus the return postage costs.
*Under these circumstances you will not receive a refund of the original postage costs.
Made to Measure goods are non returnable.
We accept returns within 30 days for all Ready Made blinds (excluding blinds with the alteration service), home furnishings and rugs. If for any reason your item is unsuitable you can return it for a full refund.
Unwanted items & your right to cancel:
Unwanted items must be posted back to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and insurance.
Returned items must be in their original, unused, re-sellable condition & in the same packaging as received. All parts and accessories must be included. A copy of the original sales record or invoice must be included in the package.
This information can be written on a separate piece of paper if no printer is available. Please ensure your full name and reason for return is included.
Returned items will be inspected before a refund (minus carriage costs) is issued, (normally within 3 business days). Please ensure items are well wrapped as returns damaged in transit will not be accepted. We will inform you of any damages to allow you to claim from your carrier's insurance.
Please note, we can only offer refunds under this policy, not exchanges. If another product is required then please purchase from our Store.

- Measurements Many of the items we sell are made to measure according to your sizes. It is therefore your responsibility to take the correct measurements of your window, curtain pole or track. If you are unsure about any of our products or how to measure then please call our customer services team for help before ordering. Please double check the products before placing your order. We cannot accept returns or refund the money if you have given us incorrect measurements.
- Made to measure Made to measure products are custom made to your exact requirements. Once made these products are only suitable to you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned. Because of this it is extremely important that you ensure the product and size given is correct. Barnes Blinds & Interiors cannot be held responsible if you dislike the colour of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Photography & descriptions The products we sell are either photographed or digitally produced and are accurately displayed on our website, however due to different computer monitors, shading and colour may appear slightly different to the exact colour.
- Fabrics Most of our fabrics are dyed and therefore each batch can vary slightly in shade. Due to colour variations between product batches we cannot guarantee shade matching for previous orders. Please note that fabric is cut by highly skilled professionals who will be as accurate as possible within a variance of +/- 3cm. We will not replace the order if the sizes are within this tolerance limit and you will not be entitled to reject the goods.
